EAST BRADY — The East Brady Beautification Group will hold a plant sale starting at 8 a.m. May 29 in the parking lot of the East Brady Methodist Church, 418 Kellys Way. The sale will feature perennial plants, herbs, garden accessories and ornaments. Will Hillenbrand, illustrator of the children's book "What a Treasure," will visit the Butler Public Library, 218 S. McKean St., at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. A presentation, crafts and activities are planned. "What a Treasure" is this year's PA One Book, Every Young Child selection.

Decorations for the Butler High School After Prom can be viewed from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the gymnasium of Butler High School, 110 Campus Lane. The theme is "Last Dance at Mardi Gras." The event is sponsored by the senior and junior parent committee.
