Brewery joins symphony concert event in Zelie

The Butler County Symphony Orchestra will be joined by Shubrew for the 2 p.m. May 29 concert at the Zelienople Community Park amphitheatre.

The Memorial Day Weekend concert will feature brews from Shubrew including various IPAs, a lager, sour and hard lemonade.

Those attending the concert should take a blanket or chair for seating.

The orchestra also will play a concert at 11 a.m. May 29 at Butler’s Alameda Park.

These concerts will feature a chamber ensemble of 14 Butler symphony musicians performing a variety of Americana, patriotic and classical music.

Works played on May 29 will include such favorites as “Stars and Stripes Forever” by John Philip Sousa, “God Bless America” by Irving Berlin, and “Nimrod” from the “Enigma Variations” by Sir Edward Elgar.
