Marcus Cashell had a home run and two singles and Cody Beacom, Nate Sarnese and Zane Voltz each singled and doubled to power Saxonburg to an 11-7 victory over Cranberry Township in Butler County American Legion play Tuesday.

Nate Epple, Mark O’Conner and Steve Duran each doubled for Cranberry Township.

Elsewhere:

• Joe Malardie tossed a complete game and Ben Hortert added a single and double as Center Township downed Butler City 11-1 in six innings.

Ricker tripled for Butler City.

• In Saturday action:

Meridian took a pair of games from Zelienople at Pullman Park, winning by scores of 12-11 and 9-0.

Ben Berresford drove in the winning run in the eighth inning of the first game. Alex Scialabba and Jace Lyons both singled and tripled while Matt Dowdy and Jake Koerner added two singles each for Meridian.

Crawford singled and doubled for Zelienople.

Lyons scattered seven hits in pitching a shutout in the nightcap. Berresford had two singles and Cody Pilarcik tripled. Stanick had two singles for Zelienople.
