CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:
Michael R. Anson, 40, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving, filed April 23.
Joshua J. Funkhouser, 27, of Chicora waived to court charges of possessing with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed March 29.
Layne D. Kriebel, 25, of Parker waived to court charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed June 8.
Shannon L. Larimore, 30, of Butler waived to court charges of bad checks and theft by deception, filed June 1.
Gary Mourer, 53, of Chicora waived to court a charge of DUI, filed March 21.
Wendy Safranek, 36, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of theft, filed May 7. Safranek was ordered to pay $585 in fines and court costs.
Luke Sopel, 40, of Butler waived to court a charge of possessing a small amount of marijuana, filed April 3.
CRANBERRY TWP — District Judge Dave Kovach recently heard these cases filed by Cranberry police:Andrew C. Cypher, 23, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 17 with driving under the influence of alcohol.Nathaniel Joseph Baxter, 21, of Callery waived his case to court. He was charged May 15 by the state police with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.Douglas L. Bower, 41, of Cranberry Township had his case held to court. He was charged Dec. 10 with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license.Christopher T. Bogulski, 21, of Cranberry waived his case to court. He was charged April 20 with driving under the influence of alcohol.Leon Green, 54, of Macedonia, Ohio, waived his case to court. He was charged May 24 with theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespass and defiant trespass.Eric Von Cammon, 52, of Cleveland waived his case to court. He was charged May 24 with theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespass and defiant trespass.James Gerude Schoy, 55, of McKeesport waived his case to court. He was charged March 28 with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.Malachi Jackson, 23, of Evans City had his case held to court. He was charged April 20 with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was charged May 27 by Zelienople police with defiant trespass, making terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.William Heath Kelsea, 38, of Butler had his case held to court. He was charged May 28 by the state police with burglary, simple assault, harassment and criminal trespass.Shawn Michael Wedlock, 37, of Renfrew waived his case to court. He was charged April 30 by the state police with simple assault and harassment.Mark William Francis, 53, of Chicora had his case held to court. He was charged April 13 by Evans City police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and careless driving.Merl Paul Weir Jr., 66, of Zelienople waived his case to court. He was charged May 30 by Jackson Township police with simple assault.Leonard Cooney Loomis, 31, of Lewisburgh, Ohio, waived his case to court. He was charged May 24 by Mars police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and alcohol and driving with a suspended license.Jonathan C.
