11:07 p.m. Sunday — Robert Nocera, 28, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 422. Police said Nocera also was charged with possession of a controlled substance, speeding and a lane violation.Nocera, following his arrest, was placed in the Butler County Prison on a detainer from the Lawrence County probation office.4:23 p.m. Sunday — Marilyn Crowley, 30, of Butler was arrested for breaking into the Lyndora apartment from where she was previously evicted. Police said they found the woman hiding in a second floor closet.Crowley was arraigned on charges of burglary, trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.
Friday — Someone stole the license plate from a vehicle owned by Janet Troutman of Rimersburg while it was parked off Route 68 near Kissinger Mills Road in Madison Township.
Jan. 16 — Police are investigating the theft of $5,000 worth of items from the Sunoco store in Worthington between May 1 and Jan. 16. The store reported items such as lottery tickets, milk and cash were taken from the store over the 8-month period.12:50 a.m. Sunday — Barry Steele, 47, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 66 in Manor Township, Armstrong County.2:05 a.m. Saturday — Alexandra Gisela Baer, 21, of Freeport was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 366 in Tarentum, Allegheny County.
10 a.m. Sunday — Someone stole a black cloth purse containing $57 and identification cards of owner Judith Miller of Grove City as she was loading groceries into her vehicle outside the County Market store off Route 58 in Pine Township.12:16 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Alison Como, 21, of Grove City was eastbound on Route 28 in Pine Township when it hit the front porch of a Barkeyville Road home. Como was taken to Grove City Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Friday — Someone stole 12 Xbox 360 video games from Debra Jones' residence at 368 Hunt Road in Scott Township between Jan. 24 and Friday.
