Janet L. Nocera
Janet L. Nocera, 80, of Butler passed away at 7:07 p.m. Sunday in the emergency room at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 15, 1931, in East Butler, to the late R. Harry Thomas and Martha (Gilbert) Thomas.
Mrs. Nocera worked in quality control at the RCA/GE Astro Space Center in Princeton, N.J., for 24Z\x years, retiring in 1993.
Mrs. Nocera is survived by her husband, Leonard Nocera, who she married March 25, 1950; two daughters, Sandra Nocera and Kathleen Nocera, both of Butler; one sister, Sarah and her husband, Donald, Bortmas of East Butler; three brothers, Fred Thomas of Connoquenessing, Harry and his wife, Sherry, Thomas of East Brady and James and his wife, Bea, Thomas of East Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
NOCERA — There will be no public visitation. Funeral services for Janet L. Nocera, who died Sunday, July 10, 2011, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, with Pastor Dennis L. Krajacic of Community Alliance Church officiating.
