The Butler girls bowling team finished fourth out of the 14 teams that qualified for the WPIBL playoffs Thursday night.

Hope Griffith led the Golden Tornado with a 230. Ashley Hevesy rolled a 188, Brea Suchonic a 176 and 187, Autumn Hepler a 160 and 170, and Nicole Balk a pair of 157s.

Butler must finish among the top six teams at the Western Pennsylvania Regionals March 13 in North Versailles to advance to the state championships March 20.

Poor weather conditions forced the postponement of four high school basketball playoff games involving Butler County area teams.•The A-C Valley District 9 Class A boys game with Keystone will be played at 7 p.m. Monday at A-C Valley.• The Union District 9 Class A girls game with Otto-Eldred will be played at a time and date to be determined at Otto-Eldred.• The Moniteau District 9 Class AA girls game against Kane will be played Tuesday at Clarion High School at a time to be determined.• The Grove City District 10 Class AA boys game against East will be played at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Edinboro University.
