Kulin 90th birthday
Alex Kulin of Butler celebrated his 90th birthday Saturday with a dinner with family and friends at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Kulin was born Dec. 15, 1919, in East Butler.
He married the former Marie Miller on Nov. 3, 1941, eloping to West Virginia.
He has five children, Ruth Lynn of Green Valley, Ariz., Alex Kulin III of East Butler, Ronald Kulin of Corry, Pa., Gloria Sabatelli of Butler and Edie Buss of Butler.
He also has 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Kulin is retired from Armco. He is a member of the National Rifle Association, Ludlow Hunting Club, and the Butler Hunting and Fishing Club.
He also played baseball for East Butler and was previously a member of a bowling league and golf league.
He attends Cornerstone Baptist Church.
