3 p.m. Friday - An elderly woman at Deshon Court told police a couple in their early 20's burglarized her home after they offered to fix her roof.A white female, about 5-foot, 4 inches tall with a thin build and long black hair, took the woman into the backyard and diverted the her attention.Meanwhile the male, 5-foot, 11 inches tall with dark hair, black pants and a blue shirt, was left alone at the front of the residence.The police report did not state what was taken.
11 a.m. Friday - Darrin Hutchens, 33, of Butler told police someone entered a storage unit at the Butler Mini Storage in Center Township and stole personal property, including antique furniture, valued at $7,000.3:40 a.m. Friday - Donald Deal, 21, of Butler lost control of his pickup truck on Unionville Road in Franklin Township and struck a utility pole. Deal, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was flown to Allegheny General Hospital where his condition was unknown as of Saturday morning.9:30 a.m. Thursday - Representatives of the Grandview Development Group of Curwensville told police someone stole two plastic signs valued at $1,000 from South Rock Slippery Rock Apartments on Keister Road in Slippery Rock Township.
8:05 a.m. Friday - Vehicles driven by Sherri Poole, 33, of Stoneboro and Beverly Lilly, 44, of Volant collided on Cranberry Road in Pine Township.2:50 a.m. Friday - Four people were injured when a horse and buggy operated by Edward Byler of Hartstown collided with a Ford Explorer driven by Terra Turner of Grove City on Beatty School Road in Salem Township.Byler was thrown from his buggy and flown to St. Elizabeth Hospital where his condition was unknown Saturday morning.Turner and two passengers Chris Profator of Hadley and Janice Sanders of Clark Mills sustained minor injuries but were not taken to the hospital. Two other passengers in Turner's vehicle were not hurt.6 p.m. May 7 - Someone stole 14 bales of hay from a stable at the residence of Tammy McQuay, 46, of Springfield Township.
