CRANBERRY TWP - District Justice Kelley Streib recently heard these cases:

Timothy Earl Ankeny, 31, of Mars waived his case to court. He was charged Aug. 8 by state police with driving under the influence of alcohol general impairment and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.16 percent.

Thomas Roy Young, 19, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged July 30 by Cranberry Township police with three counts of criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, two counts of burglary, two counts of receiving stolen property, loitering and prowling at night, possession of an instrument of crime, possession of marijuana and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kurt David Nowack, 25, of Cranberry Township had his case held to court. He was charged Sept. 7 by Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol general impairment and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.16 percent.

Kirk Mitchell McCombs, 18, of Callery waived his case to court. He was charged July 30 by Cranberry Township police with three counts of criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, two counts of burglary, two counts of receiving stolen property, loitering and prowling at night, possession of an instrument of crime, possession of marijuana and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

EVANS CITY - District Justice Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:Reed A. Minzenberg, 23, of Rochester, Beaver County, waived his case to court. He was charged Aug. 18 by Adams Township police with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.Marc D. Keenan, 41, of Pittsburgh had his case held to court. He was charged Sept. 30 by Jackson Township police with criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, three counts of burglary, three counts of theft by unlawful taking and three counts of receiving stolen property.Jessica Ann Haas, 18, of Pittsburgh waived her case to court. She was charged Aug. 11 by the state police with possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and illegally purchasing alcohol by a minor.Emily Faith Holfelder, 19, of Cranberry Township waived her case to court. She was charged Aug. 11 by the state police with possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and illegally purchasing alcohol by a minor.Vanessa Morrison, 25, of Upper St. Clair, Allegheny County, waived her case to court. She was charged Aug. 24 by Adams Township police with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.Bryan Edwin Pearce, 36, of Zelienople waived his case to court. He was charged Sept. 13 by Zelienople police with driving under the influence of alcohol general impairment and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content of between 0.10 percent and 0.16 percent.

SLIPPERY ROCK - These cases were heard Oct. 19 by District Justice Clifford Woessner:Peter J. Huizar, 18, of New Castle waived his case to court. He is charged with theft from a motor vehicle, theft of services, accidents involving death or personal injury and failure to stop after an accident. On Sept. 23, Huizar struck a pedestrian in the Founders Hall parking lot at Slippery Rock University. Police also accused Huizar of having a counterfeit SRU commuter parking decal on his car. He was released on personal recognizance. His arraignment is Nov. 29 in Butler County Court.Parker Lindsey Maynard, 21, of East Water Street, Slippery Rock, waived his case to court. Maynard is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, resisting arrest, escape, loitering, criminal mischief and public drunkenness. State police said Maynard broke into a Maple Street home. The resident told police a man broke the window and climbed halfway inside when he confronted the intruder with a gun. The suspect then backed out the window, and fled on foot when police tried to place handcuffs on him. Police caught him later. Maynard was taken to the Butler County Prison on $2,000 bond after appearing before Woessner. He will be arraigned Nov. 29 in Butler County Court.
