Rob Briggs scored 20 points to lead a balanced scoring attack as the Knoch boys basketball team rolled past West Allegheny 82-66 Friday in the first round of the Moon Tournament Friday.

Michael Gallagher added 16 points, Shawn Samek had 13 and Jake McTighe and Andrew Wirtz had 10 apiece for the Knights, who netted 30 points in the first quarter.

Knoch's Kyle Reiser had nine points.

The Knights had 10 3-pointers in the game.
