8:47 a.m. Friday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Zina Wiegand, 42, of Butler and a van driven by Jason Summerville, 36, of Cabot collided on Center Avenue. Michelle Butterfield, 17, of Butler, a passenger in the SUV, was treated for moderate injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.10:20 p.m. Thursday — Daniel Fritz, 44, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup struck a utility pole along Pillow Street.
1:42 a.m. Friday — Joshua Molnar, 23, of Mars was charged with driving under the influence, driving during suspension, careless driving and driving on the left side of the road after a traffic stop near Whitestown Road at Hansen Avenue.
5 p.m. Sunday — Police are seeking the unknown suspect in an apparent case of road rage in Oakland Township.Kelly Jo Hilliard, 31, of Connoquenessing told police that the incident occurred when she was stopped in her car on Hoffman Road. She said the driver of a 1999 Dodge Ram got out of the pickup truck and screamed at her, before punching her car's windshield.She said the unknown driver got back into the pickup and drove away west on Conway Road. Adescription of the pickup driver was not provided in a news release.Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.3:55 p.m. Sunday — Apickup driven by Ryan E. Perkins, 36, of Clay Township struck an embankment and rolled over on South Benbrook Road near Lions Road in Center Township. Police said Perkins was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.11:44 p.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Travis Zukowski, 18, of Freeport struck a tree, traveled down an embankment and rolled on its roof at Mahood and Gerner roads in Winfield Township. Police said Zukowski, who suffered minor injuries, left the crash site.4:19 p.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Kevin Vespaziani, 23, of Slippery Rock skidded on ice and slush and slid into a tree stump along Browntown Road in Mercer Township. Police said the car rolled over and landed on its wheels in a field after hitting the stump.4 p.m. Friday — An unknown vehicle and a vehicle driven by Carrie Waldroup, 32, of Hilliards collided on Mahood Road in Concord Township. Waldroup was not injured and the unknown vehicle fled the scene. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.2:15 p.m. Thursday — Someone pried open the side door of a garage owned by Earl T. Snow, Jr., 48, of Chicora at 103 High St. in Petrolia between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 2:15 p.m. Thursday. The unknown burglar stole several items valued at $2,700 from the garage.Dec. 24 — Someone entered a newly constructed residence belonging to Shirley Mawhinney of Portersville at the corner of Cherry Falls Lane and Edna Lane in Muddy Creek Township between Dec. 1 and Dec. 24.Apolice report said the unknown burglar cut $2,000 worth of copper tubing and $1,000 worth of Romex wire from the basement, and took numerous saws and tools valued at $1,200.
3:50 p.m. Thursday — A tractor-trailer driven by Barry Yount, 24, of Oil City crashed and rolled onto its side at Routes 208 and Route 38 in Scrubgrass Township.
9:30 p.m. Saturday — Thomas John Bowser, 38, of Kittanning was arrested after confronting his girlfriend at another man's home in North Buffalo Township.Police said Bowser walked into Barry Campbell's Pony Farm Road home, where the defendant found his girlfriend. Bowser was told to leave but instead began screaming at the woman.The defendant allegedly ransacked Campbell's bedroom, damaging a 32-inch television and a dresser. Police said Bowser also threatened Campbell and at one point took a swing at him.Bowser was arraigned on charges of trespass, criminal mischief, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, and placed in the Armstrong County Jail on $15,000 bail.8:10 p.m. Friday — Jeffery Brozenick, 44, of Freeport was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.7:30 p.m. Dec. 29 — Acar driven by Nicholas Gonzalez, 20, of Sarver crashed into an embankment and rolled over on Route 66 in Parks Township.3 a.m. Dec. 24 — Apickup truck driven by Darla Titterington, 44, of Emlenton slid on an ice patch, struck a utility pole and rolled over on Route 68 in Brady Bend Township. Police said Titterington was cited for failing to immediately notify police of an accident.
5:06 p.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Jesse Stecz, 19, of Mercer struck a tree after skidding off slush-covered Old Ash Road in Springfield Township. Stecz suffered minor injuries.
