5:15 p.m. Saturday — A rental box van driven by Jerry Lindsey, 48, of Butler sideswiped a parked car owned by Megan Brownly on Wagner Avenue. Lindsey was charged with driving during suspension.
4:08 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Michael Figliolia, 21, of Elizabeth, Pa., traveled off Interstate 79, rolling several times before stopping on its roof. The driver and his passenger, Ben College, 20, of Pittsburgh received unspecified injuries. Both men were wearing seat belts. The driver was cited for careless driving.11:40 a.m. Monday — A pickup truck driven by Bradley Louise, 39, of Emlenton hit an embankment off Branchton Road and overturned. Louise, who was wearing a seat belt, received unspecified injuries. Slippery Rock EMS, Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Marion Township Volunteer Fire Company assisted at the scene.9:45 a.m. Monday — Deanna Littlejohn, 40, of Butler was charged with simple assault and harassment after allegedly hitting Robert Ruley, 37, in the head with a plastic chair during a dispute at 707A West Old Route 422 in Franklin Township. Littlejohn was placed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,500 bond, which she later posted.3:35 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Eileen Rogers, 65, of New Castle struck a deer on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township. Rogers was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.Sunday — Someone smashed the mailboxes of Jean Allison and Marilyn McDeavitt on Rhoer Road in West Liberty between 6 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.Sunday — Someone stole a black plastic mailbox from Angie Fulkerson's residence at 275 Parker Pike in Allegheny Township between Friday and Sunday.11:25 p.m. Saturday — David Lee Kinney, 44, of Slippery Rock was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness after police responded to a call about an intoxicated man walking on Unionville Road in Franklin Township.Saturday — Someone used a sharp object to damage the paint on a vehicle owned by Richard Morehouse while it was parked at 122 Rockdale Road in Jefferson Township between 9 and 11:30 p.m. Damage is estimated at $3,500. Anyone with information about the incident should call police at 724-284-8100.11 p.m. Saturday — A pickup truck driven by a Parker 16-year-old male struck a hillside off Allegheny Church Road in Allegheny Township. The driver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.2:45 a.m. Saturday — James Byers, 24, of Butler was arrested for possession of suspected marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at the intersection of West Penn and Miller streets.Dec. 10 — Jason Faulkner, 27, of Butler was charged with theft by unlawful taking after allegedly stealing $193 in cash and a fry cutter from Wookie's Pizza on Route 422 in Summit Township between 12:30 and 9:10 p.m.7:40 p.m. Dec. 7 — A car driven by Jason Eppinger, 26, of Butler and an SUV driven by Chad Dickey, 30, of Butler collided at the intersection of Route 422 and Brandon Road in Center Township. Eppinger, who was not wearing a seat belt, received a head injury. Dickey was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Eppinger was charged with driving under the influence and multiple traffic violations.5 p.m. Dec. 5 — James R. Hutchinson III, 19, of Butler was charged with retail theft and possession of marijuana after allegedly stealing a $60 gold bracelet from Boscov's department store at the Clearview Mall in Center Township.Nov. 30 — Tara Crawford, 22, of Butler was arrested for burglary after allegedly stealing a television from Dave Birckbichler's Oakland Township residence on Chicora Road between Nov. 1 and 30.
12:20 p.m. Dec. 5 — A vehicle driven by Stephen Matava of Sandy Lake and a vehicle driven by Charles Connor of Youngstown, Ohio, collided on Route 173 in Worth Township. No injuries were reported.
Sunday — Someone stole 31 special extension cords worth a total of $2,459 from a garage and multiple sheds at the Castlewood Rod & Gun Club on Shaffer Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, between Dec. 12 and 17.
6:56 p.m. Dec. 12 — Vehicles driven by Leroy T. Rhodes, 81, of New Brighton, Beaver County, and by Justin Cooper, 18, of Fombell, Beaver County, collided at South Main Street and Culvert Street. No injuries were reported, and both vehicles had moderate damage.5:20 p.m. Dec. 7 — Police were called to the intersection of Main and West New Castle streets for a report of a pedestrian struck. A vehicle driven by Brianna Kay Knapik, 26 of 548 West New Castle St., Zelienople, struck Robert Neish, Jr., 40, of 224 S. Main St., Apt. C, Zelienople. Neish was not seriously injured and refused treatment at the scene. Neish told police he was crossing the intersection against the pedestrian signal when he was struck. Neish walked away after speaking with police.
