Corle comes alive in 2nd half to lead Union

Moniteau's Megan Campbell and Union's Mackenzie Shirey both go for a loose ball in the Damsels' 65-38 victory over the Warriors.

Tiffany Corle scored 16 of her 20 points in the second half as Union overcame a scrappy Moniteau defense for a 65-38 win in high school girls basketball Tuesday night.

The Warriors bottled up Corle and the Damsels in the first half and trailed by only four points at the break.

But Corle, who also had nine rebounds, seven assists and two blocked shots, helped Union (12-3, 9-1) pull ahead in the third quarter and cruise in the fourth.

Amy Gladd and Kenzie Timblin each scored 10 points for Moniteau (3-12, 3-7).
