Freeport Theatre Festival announces summer events
Freeport Theatre Festival has announced its 32nd summer season, full of comic relief.
An evening of romance and comedy will begin the season in July.
“The Rainmaker,” an American classic romantic comedy will be presented Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from July 9 to 25.
The play was written by N. Richard Nash and is being directed by Jennifer Bronder.
Coming in August is “Bertha & Bailey’s Circus,” written by Rennick Steele and Chloe Marin.
Steele will be directing.
Performance dates for “Circus” will be Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Aug. 13 to 29.
Curtain is at 7 p.m. for both shows.
Tickets prices are $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors and military members, and $10 for students.
The barn theater is on the Steele farm, 2498 White Cloud Road, just off Route 356 in Allegheny Township, Westmoreland County.
