Wolford

Mary S. Wolford, 79, of Butler died at 11:38 a.m. Wed-nesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Feb. 12 1928, in Claytonia, she was daughter of John and Dillie Louella Anderson Christy.

She had attended the Claytonia Church of the Nazarene in her early years.

Mrs. Wolford retired from the housekeeping department at Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center after 35 years.

Surviving are three grandchildren, Betty Smith, with whom she made her home, and Philip Eugene and Jeffrey Smith, both of Butler; and two great-grandchildren, Brandon Scott Ward-Smith and Brooke Renee Fair-Smith.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Della Mary Smith, who died Nov. 21, 1984; four sisters, and five brothers.

<B>WOLFORD </B>— Memorial services for Mary S. Wolford, who died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., with the Rev.
