3:05 p.m. Sunday — A woman needed hospital treatment after a dog bit her outside a house in the 100 block of Third Avenue.The dog ran down the porch of the house of its owner and attacked 55-year-old Darlene Muskello of Easton, Northampton County, who was nearby. The woman was bit one time and suffered four puncture wounds on her right thigh.Police described the bite as about one-half inch deep. Muskello was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and released.Police turned over the investigation to Ken Rudisill, the state dog warden in Butler County. Rudisill could not be reached for comment Tuesday, and it was not known if the dog's owner faces charges.

12:45 a.m. Saturday — A boy, who police did not identify, is accused of attacking a 25-year-old man in Clay Township. The youth allegedly punched, choked and bit Jay Vinroe at Vinroe's home on McGregor Road.Vinroe managed to run into his house and shut the door. But the boy forced his way in and continued to fight Vinroe. The suspect ran away before police got there.The boy faces charges including burglary and simple assault.

11:05 p.m. Monday — Two Grove City teenagers were among three people hurt in a head-on crash at George Junior Road and Route 58 in Pine Township.The crash happened when the driver of car, who police only identified as a juvenile, crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a sport utility vehicle driven by Susan Argyle, 58, of Grove City.Argyle and Rex Gregory II, 18, a passenger in the car, both suffered moderate injuries. A medical helicopter flew Gregory to an unknown Pittsburgh hospital. Argyle was taken by ambulance to the Grove City Medical Center.Police said the driver of the car, who suffered only a minor injury, was cited for a red light violation and a junior driver's license violation.2:45 p.m. Friday — One person was hurt when two SUVs collided on Franklin Road, north of Cottage Road in Jackson Township. Ryan W. Berger, 29, of Mercer, one of the drivers, was taken to the Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries. Police cited the other driver, Walter L. Taylor, 65, of Mercer, for making an improper left turn.
