Butler Police7:05 p.m. Sunday — Michael G. Watt, 39, of Butler was arrested on felony shoplifting charges stemming from the alleged theft of a $10 bottle of cough syrup at the Pullman Square Family Dollar store.Watt, who has five prior shoplifting convictions, was arraigned on a felony count of retail theft, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.6:35 p.m. Friday — Lauren E. Dunmire, 19, of Butler was arrested on charges she tried to steal soda pop after awakening from a suspected heroin overdose at Natili’s Pizza on North Main Street.Employees told police they found Dunmire passed out in a bathroom. When she came to, according to court documents, she walked to the drink cooler and grabbed four bottles of pop. The employees stopped her from leaving and police were called.Officers found the defendant, who appeared under the influence of drugs, seated at a dining room table. “When asked, she admitted to being, ‘drunk as hell,’” a police affidavit said.A search of her purse turned up six bags and two empty bags of suspected heroin, used syringes and a crack pipe.Dunmire, who has two prior arrests for shoplifting, was arraigned on a felony charges of retail theft, misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and a summary charge of public drunkenness.She was placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail following arraignment.Butler Twp. Police9:27 a.m. Saturday — Nathan J. Marshall, 33, of Fombell, Beaver County, allegedly stole $505.09 from the Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotel on North Duffy Road, while he worked at the hotel. He is charged with first-degree misdemeanor counts of theft and receiving stolen property.11:23 a.m. Friday — Tijuan M. Phillips, 25, of Butler was arrested after he allegedly stole a purse at the Super 8 hotel on Route 8 south. Police caught Phillips a short time later at a nearby fast food restaurant, according to court documents, and found him with stamp bags of suspected heroin.Police said the purse contained jewelry and other items.Phillips was arraigned on misdemeanor charges of theft, receiving stolen property, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail following arraignment.5 p.m. March 21 — Frankie L. Deluca, 21, and Stephanie M. O’Malley, 21, both of Butler allegedly ran out of a $25.50 bill at Applebee’s restaurant at Butler Commons.Both suspects are charged with theft of services, conspiracy to commit theft of services, receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit receiving stolen property.State Police, Franklin6:30 p.m. Monday — Jamal A. Priester, 27, of Erie was caught with suspected marijuana after police found him in a vehicle with its emergency flashers on while parked on the side of Interstate 80 in Clinton Township, Venango County.Police said Priester faces a charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana.
