Mary Latini
Mary (Zanetti) Latini of Kittanning, formerly of Freeport, died Monday at Erdley's Personal Care Home.
Born Dec. 14, 1915, in Brookville, she was a daughter of the late Fortunato Zanetti and Maria (Serafini) Zanetti.
Mary cooked for several people including the Gault family, the state police, and the convent in Kittanning.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church in Cadogan and the White Star Auxiliary in Freeport.
She very much enjoyed and was an excellent cook and baker. She loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her daughters, Nancy Summers of Tarentum, Virginia “Ginger” Kelly and her husband, Michael, of Kittanning and Joanne Gajdosik and her husband, Joe, of Springdale Township; a son, Joseph Latini and his wife, Virginia, of Saxonburg; grandchildren, Michele (Bob) Plocki, Larry Vokish, Michael “Scott” (Nadine) Kelly, Fred (Janet) Latini, Melissa Latini, Jessica Latini, Carla Gajdosik (fiancee, Naeill Leigh), David Gajdosik and Laura Gajdosik; great-grandchildren, Gina, Rob, Chris, Frederick, Cassandra, Mikey, Rebecca, Dominic, Dillon and Katelyn; step-grandchildren, Matt (Denise), Jenna and Angela; a brother, Joseph Zanetti of Cadogan; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred A. “Fred” Latini, who died in 1992; a son, Frederick Latini; grandsons, Chris Latini and Christopher Kelly; two sisters, Louise Foradori and Jane Chemelli; and four brothers, Tulio, Dan, Christian and John Zanetti.
<B>LATINI </B>— Friends of Mary (Zanetti) Latini, who died Monday, May 2,2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME </B>in Kittanning. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church in Cadogan with Father Bryan Summers as celebrant.
