JACKSON TWP — Two girls volleyball camps will be held in the multi-purpose room at Ryan Gloyer Middle School on the Seneca Valley campus.

The first, sponsored by the Seneca Valley Girls Volleyball Boosters, is scheduled Monday through June 13 for girls entering grades 4-8.

Campers entering grades 4-6 will attend camp from 9 to 11 a.m. and campers entering grades 7-8 will attend camp from 12 to 2 p.m.

The camp will be led by the 2011 and 2016 WPIAL champion Seneca Valley coaches as well as returning varsity and junior varsity players.

Cost for grades 4-6 is $120 if mailed before Thursday ($130 at the door). Grades 7-8 is $150 if mailed before Thursday ($160 at the door).

No previous experience is necessary. Campers should bring knee pads and water.

The second camp is for girls entering grades 7-9 and will run 9 a.m. to noon, July 30 to Aug. 1.

The 2011 and 2016 WPIAL champion Seneca Valley coaches will provide instruction, with assistance from returning high school players.

Campers, who are encouraged to bring knee pads and water, will be split up by age and ability. The cost is $125 if pre-registration is received before July 24 or $135 at the door.

There will be a 15-minute break each day if the campers would like to pack a snack.

No previous experience is necessary. The camp has been well-attended in the past and early registration is recommended.
