12:35 a.m. Sunday — Stephen Willetts, 32, of Fenelton was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Franklin and East Penn streets. Police also cited Willetts for disobeying a traffic sign.Sunday — Derek McCance, 20, of Meadville, Crawford County, was charged with access device fraud for allegedly using a Butler woman's bank card to withdraw $881.74 from the woman's account. Police said McCance between May and June used the card three times without the owner's permission.
3:30 a.m. Sunday — Eric Young, 29, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence while operating an all-terrain vehicle at Saxonburg and Freeport roads. Police said Young was also charged with driving a vehicle without a required interlock device.1:09 a.m. Sunday — John Christofano, 39, of Butler was arrested for DUI at Home Avenue and Whitestown Road. Police also cited Christofano for careless driving.4:44 a.m. Saturday — Howard Madison, 56, of Butler was arrested for DUI on Route 8. Police noted that this was Madison's third arrest for DUI.2:36 a.m. Saturday — Angela Finucan, 24, of Lyndora was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Penn Avenue. Police said Finucan also faces charges of disorderly conduct and an open container violation.1:54 a.m. Saturday — Donald Anthony, 34, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on South Duffy Road. Police said Anthony also faces charges of possession of prohibited offensive weapons for having a switchblade-type knife, possession of drug paraphernalia and several traffic offenses.
7:55 a.m. July 10 — Barry Stickel of Zelienople reported a set of golf clubs valued at $500 was taken from the porch from his East New Castle Street residence.6:50 a.m. July 8 — Police received a report of a broken waterline behind the concession stand at the Zelienople Community Park on East Beaver Street. Police later found that a water spigot was vandalized and that the vandals attempted to enter the concession stand, but were unsuccessful.2:12 p.m. July 5 — A vehicle driven by Jennifer F. Sharpe, 28, of Seneca, Pa., was stopped on Route 68 at the intersection with Pittsburgh Street in Harmony to make a turn, when she was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Joshua W. Weisz, 22, of Evans City. Weisz told police he was unable to stop on the wet road. No injuries were reported.7:05 a.m. July 4 — Police received a report that two dugouts at the ball fields and basketball courts at the Zelienople Community Park on East Beaver Street were vandalized with white paint and a roller in both places with the letters and numerals EDS, DEZ and 4L. No estimate on the damage was reported.
4:31 p.m. Monday — Cars driven by Rose McCoy, 71, of Portersville and Jodi Davis, 19, of Harrisville collided on Route 19 in Muddy Creek Township.8:50 a.m. Monday — Apickup truck driven by Alexander Riskosky, 60, and a sport utility vehicle driven by Jeremy Wilson, 27, both of Butler collided at Bricker and Saxonburg roads in Saxonburg.Monday — Bronze vases and scrolls were stolen from several grave markers at the Greenlawn Burial Estates cemetery on West Old Route 422 in Franklin Township. The theft occurred between 3:45 p.m. Friday and 6:15 a.m. Monday.
1:12 p.m. Monday — Five people were injured when cars driven by Henry Norcross, 71, of Slippery Rock and Charles Golla, 91, of New Castle collided at Route 173 and Browntown Road in Liberty Township, Mercer County.Police said were both drivers and three passengers were treated for minor to moderate injuries at Grove City Medical Center.
