2:46 a.m. Friday — Nicole Teresa Finucan, 28, of Butler was charged with possession with intent to deliver drug paraphernalia after police found 11 syringes in her purse during a traffic stop along West Jefferson Street.6 p.m. Dec. 29 — A two-car accident occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Penn Street.Ellen E. Dodge, 81, of Valencia was attempting to turn left onto Main Street from East Penn Street when she struck a car driven by Taylor N. McGinnis, 20, of Butler.

7:56 p.m. Thursday — Joshua Falcon, 24, and Jennifer A. Cole, 29, both of Butler, were charged with retail theft after Cole was viewed stealing items from Walmart.Both Falcon and Cole failed to pay for the items at the self checkout before leaving the store.8:15 p.m. Monday — Amanda Sortore, 30, of Butler was charged with theft by deception, identity theft, and retail theft after she attempted to steal money and items from Walmart.Sortore put numerous items in Walmart bags she brought into the store, then returned the items for money at the customer service desk.Sortore then took two pairs of jeans valued at $30 before attempting to leave the store.

12:10 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Maria L. Simon, 19, of Grove City struck the cement foundation of a railroad bridge in Findley Township after Simon lost control of her vehicle on Scrubgrass Road.9:51 a.m. Wednesday — Crystal L. Vaughan, 29, of Volant was charged with simple assault after she got into an altercation with Levi R. Barber, 28, of Hadley at a house in Perry Township, Mercer County. Barber had minor injuries.
