Crash slows I-79 south
A woman was taken to Allegheny General Hospital with a suspected leg injury after a crash on Interstate 79 southbound in Cranberry Township.
A witness said the woman veered off the road from the left lane, hit a guide rail and swerved across both lanes before coming to a stop on the shoulder.
Traffic is backed up between the Evans City and Route 228 exits while the car is being removed.
