Cora M. "Peggy" Best, 69, of West Mercer Street, Harrisville, died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital.

Born March 30, 1940, in Butler, she was the daughter of Bruce L. and Mary K. Thomas Dunn.

She worked in the bakery of County Market, Grove City, for 10 years.

She was a member of the First Church of God in Grove City.

She married Carl. L. Best on Sept. 19, 1954. He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Dawna M. Stenzel of Zelienople and Darlene A. Covert and her husband, Stanley J. Jr., of Harrisville; nine grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, Carol L. Daughtery and her husband, Charles, of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Main St., Harrisville.There will be additional visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Church of God, Grove City. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with pastor Gene R.
