ERIE — Slippery Rock High School junior midfielder Ellie Reiser, who scored 14 goals this season, has been named District 10, Region 2 Girls Soccer Player of the Year.

Other Rockets making first team All-Region 2 are sophomore goalkeeper Julia Hart, junior midfielder Kayla Daugherty, senior midfielder Sam Harriett, senior defenders Emily Sarver and Tessa McHattie.

Sophomore defender Ashley Shea made second team.

On the boys side, SR junior goalkeeper Duncan McCoy, senior forward James Gallagher, junior forward Ryan Davey, junior midfielder Ryan Sproat and junior defender Nathaniel Willison made first team All-Region 5.

Making second team from the Rockets are junior midfielders Jack Allen, Tyler Christy and Ian Balquist, junior defenders Kurtis Baxa, Mark Novad and Zach Caldwell.

Both Slippery Rock teams were region champions.
