9:22 p.m. Saturday - Robert Grubbs, 23, of Muddy Creek Township was cited following a hit-and-run crash on West Cunningham Street. Grubbs is charged with accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle, driving with a suspended license and careless driving.7:40 p.m. Friday - Adam Ansani, 29, of Butler was cited for driving with a suspended license, following a traffic stop on West New Castle Street. Police said Ansani has nine proper convictions for driving with a suspended license.3:35 p.m. Thursday - Joseph Guadagni, 20, of Butler Township was arrested for allegedly shoplifting a hoagie at the A-Plus convenience store on East Jefferson Street. Police searched Guadagni and found him with a double-edged folding dagger in his pocket. He is charged with retail theft and possession of a prohibited offensive weapon.10 a.m. Tuesday - Police seized a 27-inch tall suspected marijuana plant on the roof of the West Diamond Street home of Brian Dietz, 22, who is charged with manufacture of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.2:34 p.m. July 2 - Jacob Kessler, 17, of Center Township was seriously injured when his bicycle collided with a sport utility vehicle, driven by Joseph Pierrel, 65, of Summit Township. at Cunningham and Franklin streets. Kessler was taken with head and facial injuries to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not known this morning. No charges were filed in the crash.
5:48 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by Stephanie Graham, 23, of Eau Claire and a sport utility vehicle driven by Tracy Fleegerm 29, of Butler collided on Main Street and Bruin-Queenstown Road in Bruin.Graham's car, following the collision, traveled off the road and struck a parked pickup truck and a house. Graham, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. She was cited for undisclosed traffic violations.2:28 a.m. Sunday - Stephen McGregor Jr., 34, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence at Monroe and Jefferson streets in Butler.12:32 a.m. Sunday - Benjamin Eakin, 25, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he was found asleep behind the wheel of a running vehicle parked in the Subway restaurant parking lot in Center Township.Sunday - An unidentified vehicle between 5 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 p.m. Sunday struck a mailbox post and utility pole along North Duffy Road in Center Township and did not stop following the crash.7:45 p.m. Saturday - A pickup truck driven by Randy Grossman, 25, of Boyers struck a utility pole along Branchton Road in Cherry Township.7:25 p.m. Saturday - Doug Dudich, 40, of Pittsburgh was injured when he crashed his motorcycle on Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township. Dudich, who was wearing a helmet, was taken with moderate neck and back injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital. Hie condition was not known this morning.Saturday - All-terrain vehicles were reported taken in separate thefts in the Chicora area sometime Friday or Saturday.Adam Zaborney of Chicora said his yellow, 2005 Suzuki LTZ400 vehicle was taken between 2 and 8 a.m. from East Slippery Rock Street in Chicora.Also reported taken from the same street was a blue, 1992 Suzuki Quadrunner 160cc owned by Timothy McNaughton of Chicora The theft occurred between 9:20 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. Saturday.Adams Burns of Butler, meanwhile, said his 2000 Honda ATV was taken between 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday from behind a Gamelands Road home in Donegal Township.9:30 p.m. Friday - Two 17-year-old Chicora boys, whom police did not identify, allegedly fired an air rifle from the second floor of a home and struck the Central Avenue home of Sidney Callihan in Chicora. Damage to Callihan's home is estimated at $550. The teens face criminal mischief charges in Butler County juvenile court.7:15 p.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Robert Best, 18, of Lyndora skidded off rain-soaked Holyoke Road in Center Township and struck a drainage ditch. Best was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
June 23 - A 17-year-old Rimersburg boy, whom police did not identify, is suspected of taking speakers, an amplifier and several compact discs from a vehicle on Main Street in Rimersburg, Clarion County. The theft occurred between June 13 and 23. Jayson Stewart of Rimersburg owns the stolen property.
Sunday - Francis Hermanson, 49, of Emlenton was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle crashed and rolled over on Squaw Valley Road in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.7:30 p.m. Friday - Jason Shira, 25, of Lakewood. Colo., was arrested at the Emlenton Motor Inn in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, where he was found in possession of a vehicle previously reported stolen from the Toledo, Ohio, area. Shira was arraigned on theft-related charges and placed in the Venango County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
3:10 p.m. Wednesday - A 6-year-old boy suffered minor injuries when the bicycle he was riding collided with a sport utility vehicle in the American Legion parking lot on Route 68 in Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County.Police said the crash occurred when the boy pulled in front of the SUV driven by Fred Reith, 67, of Karns City. No charges were filed.11:15 p.m. July 1 - Glen Eshenbaugh, 42, of Freeport was arrested for driving under the influence at Route 356 and 1001 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.
6:58 a.m. Tuesday - A Mack truck driven by Gerald Roberts, 44, of Sandy Lake and a pickup truck driven by Brandon Fortuna, 19, of Grove City collided at Route 62 and 845 in Sandy Lake Township, Mercer County. Roberts, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered unknown injuries.
