10:31 p.m. Wednesday — Daniel Fritz, 43, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on Wood Street.9:52 p.m. Sunday — Five people were hurt when cars driven by Robert Fry, 25, and Ashley Spare, 19, both of Butler, collided at West Cunningham and Pillow streets.Fry and a passenger in his car, Tyrone Hilliard, 16, of Prospect, and Spare and two passengers in her car, Donna Spare, 35, of Butler and a 1-year-old boy, all suffered minor to moderate injuries.

12:26 p.m. Tuesday — Cynthia Somogy, 29, of Butler is accused of using a stolen credit card to make numerous withdrawals from the account at automated teller machines in the Butler area. She is charged with access device fraud.

Thursday — 166 metal side plates valued at $1,700 were taken from Butler Forge and Metal in East Butler.9:30 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Jeff McCreight, 41, of Erie struck a trailer being towed by a tractor truck on Route 356 in Jefferson Township. The car rolled onto its roof following the crash.McCreight, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. Edward Thiele, 42, of Cabot was driving the truck.8:03 p.m. Sunday — Two people were injured when an unidentified car slammed into their pickup truck, causing the pickup to roll over numerous times before ending on an embankment along Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.The unknown driver of the car, a white Chevrolet Cavalier, did not stop after the crash.Colby Zwigart, 25, who was driving the pickup, and a passenger, Ashley DeFide, 22, both of Pittsburgh, suffered moderate to major injuries. No other information about their injuries was immediately available.1:21 p.m. Sunday — Apickup truck driven by a 17-year-old Sarver boy, who police did not identify, and a sport utility vehicle driven by Kimberly Foust, 46, of Freeport collided on Route 228 in Clinton Township. The boy was cited for an illegal left turn.11:23 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Beth Ann Marshall, 36, of Zelienople crashed and rolled over on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township.4:50 p.m. May 4 — A car driven by Christopher Selfridge, 33, of Butler ran off Route 2010 and Lindsay Road in Summit Township and traveled through two yards. He was later charged with driving under the influence.

Wednesday — Someone using a bow and arrow shot a cat on Round Top Drive in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. Police did not disclose information about any injuries suffered by the cat, owned by Richard Brake of Kittanning.

1:33 a.m. Saturday — Nathan Allen Richar, 19, of 1037 Barkeyville Road was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop on South Broad Street for speeding.June 29 — A boy's green Mongoos BMX bike was stolen from Jessica Devos, 31, of North Center Street. The bike was valued at $50.June 28 — Athree-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of North and McConnell streets when a truck operated by Brian Lawry, 28, of West Mifflin rear-ended a truck driven by Scott Wimer, 46, of Grove City. Wimer's vehicle was pushed into a van operated by Joshua Toth, 26, of Fredonia. No injuries were reported. Lawry was cited for careless driving and driving while operating privilege is suspended.1:36 a.m. June 28 — A 17-year-old male was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage drinking after he was stopped for a curfew violation at the intersection of South Center Street and Stewart Avenue.8:45 a.m. June 26 — While traveling south on South Center Street, Marsha Morris, 59, of 220 State St., failed to stop her 1990 Honda Accord for a 1998 Plymouth Voyager operated by Vanessa Smith, 28, of 712 S. Center St. Smith was attempting to make a left-hand turn. Morris' vehicle sustained heavy damage. There were no injuries. Morris was cited for a traffic violation.June 21 — Two lantern-style silver solar lights valued at $20 were stolen from 603 Tidball Ave. between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
