TIFFIN, Ohio — The Slippery Rock University women’s basketball team slipped to 2-5 with an 83-73 loss at Tiffin Saturday.

The host Dragons (4-5) used a 24-13 burst in the third quarter to take control of the game. Brooke Hinderliter scored 18 points, grabbed five rebounds and had four assists for SRU.

Daeja Quick contributed 14 points, five rebounds and five assists, Madison Johnson 14 points, Karns City graduate LeeAnn Gibson 11 points, seven rebounds and two steals.
