Pa. bear harvest reaches 1,498
Through three days of Pennsylvania’s general bear season, hunters have harvested 1,498 bears, covering 52 counties.
There were 1,833 bears harvested in the first three days last year.
Lycoming County has had 113 bears harvested this year to lead the state. There have been 20 bears harvested in Butler County.
