9:58 a.m. Monday — A tractor-trailer driven by John L. Jackson, 58, of Gowan, Mich., struck the side of a car while changing lanes on West Cunningham Street. Roland M. Wise, 76, of Evans City was driving the car.Butler Twp. Police3:02 p.m. Friday — Police investigated a pair of accidents that happened within a minute at the same intersection of Whitestown Road and Home Avenue.The first crash occurred when a vehicle driven by Donald Tebay, 50, of Parker rear-ended a vehicle driven by Rebekah Eshenbaugh, 22, of Butler.Moments later, a vehicle driven by Gary G. Nelson, 67, of Worthington, Armstrong County, struck the back of a vehicle driven by Robert Muto, 56, of Butler.
7:43 a.m. Sunday — Robert A. Dubois, 24, of Slippery Rock was hurt when he lost control of his car and struck an embankment on Crestview Road just north of Stoughton Road in Slippery Rock Township. The car rolled over. Dubois, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered a minor injury. He was cited for careless driving.7:42 a.m. Sunday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Craig S. Caldwell, 40, and a car driven by Melanie O. Kaplin, 24, both of Slippery Rock, collided at Miller Road and Sunshine Way in Slippery Rock Township. The SUV rolled over into the woods and landed on its wheels.Kaplin, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Caldwell was cited for improperly entering or crossing a road, and Kaplin was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Saturday — Two mountain bikes were stolen from a home on Meadow Brook Court in Center Township. The bikes were taken between 12:30 and 6 a.m.
April 30 — An unknown thief stole a Prospect woman's two horse saddles from Pleasant Valley Stables on Barkley Road in Perry Township. The theft happened between April 28 and 30.
