FIRST BAPTIST
Presidents of two Baptist missionary agencies will be featured speakers as First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., church concludes its Missionary Emphasis Month in the week ahead.
Michael Loftis, president of the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism, will speak at the 10:55 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday services. Headquartered in Harrisburg, ABWE is an independent faith mission agency with more than 1,100 missionaries serving in 75 nations.
The Rev. David Little, president of Baptist Church Planters, Elyria, Ohio, will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday. BCP serves local churches and home missionaries in establishing churches across North America.
Youth group members will be among teen groups from member churches of the Association of Independent Baptist Churches of Western Pennsylvania participating in a youth retreat from 6 p.m. Friday through 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Slippery Rock Baptist Camp, 130 Elliott Lane, Slippery Rock. The featured speaker will be Brent Belford, director of graduate studies at Northland Baptist Bible College, Dunbar, Wis.
A baby shower for Evonne Patterson will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Baptist Youth Center.
Members of the Kingdom Seekers Sunday school class will take part in a family luncheon at the youth center after the 11 a.m. Sunday service.
The church will conduct a nursing home service at Sunnyview from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday.
BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE
An inspirational movie entitled "The Long Ride Home" will be viewed at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68. The movie is free, and refreshments will be available in the fellowship room.
CHRIST COMMUNITY U.M.
The Chancel Choir of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will be singing at the Sunday morning service at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Hand towels are the health care items being collected for the UMCOR emergency kits during the weekend.

NORTH MAIN ST. CHURCH OF GOD
