An Easter sunrise service will be held at 7:30 a.m. Sunday in the Narthex at the Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68. Easter breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. Reservations are requested.

An Easter Egg hunt will be held at 9:15 a.m. Sunday for children age 3 through grade six. Prizes will be awarded at 11:45 a.m. Milli Martsolf will direct Children's Church at 10:45 a.m., assisted by the Puppet Team.

Music for the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service will be provided by Millie and Nathan Martsolf, Vonda Mishler, and the church choir.

There will be no evening service Sunday.

Kids Club Caravan and Wednesday Worship will return to their regular schedule Wednesday.

A Passover potluck dinner will be held at 6 p.m. today in Oz Hall at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road. Those attending should take a dish to share. The events of Maundy Thursday will be shared throughout the meal. Communion will be served at the tables in remembrance of the Last Supper. A prayer service will follow at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.Easter weekend services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday and at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. James Ritchie, a United Methodist pastor and consultant in intergenerational worship, will lead the services. The 11 a.m. traditional service will feature a children's processional liturgical dance. The Children's Choirs will join with the Chancel Choir for Easter musical selections. A continental breakfast will be held at 9:45 a.m. Members should take a breakfast treat to share. Coffee and juice will be provided.The food cupboard is seeking donations of spaghetti and spaghetti sauce during April.Meals on Wheels is seeking full-time or substitute volunteers to drive, deliver or prepare meals in the kitchen. Monetary donations to assist in the purchase of construction materials are needed.

Easter will be celebrated at the 7 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday services at Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave. Dwight Morrison, Vicki Palmer and Debby Price will provide music.The children's choir is looking for volunteers to build sets for its upcoming musical production. The Fellowship and Outreach Committee of Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday to decorate the church for Easter.At 11 a.m. Sunday Festival Service of Resurrection, the choir will sing Handel's Hallelujah Chorus.

An Easter sunrise service with Communion will be held at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at Crestview Community Church, Kline Avenue, Callery. If weather permits, the service will be held outdoors.Communion will also be served at the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service.

A Good Friday service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Crossway Church of the Assemblies of God, 109 Davis Road, Valencia. Communion will be served.An Easter egg hunt will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday for children in sixth grade and younger. Awards will be presented for unique and creatively decorated baskets.Asunrise service will be held at 6:30 a.m. Sunday in the Oak Grove. A continental breakfast will follow.The 10 a.m. Sunday service will include a preschool presentation, worship dance and an Easter message. Children participating in the Easter celebration will receive a gift.

A Good Friday service, Journey to the Cross, Healing and Communion will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faithway-Fared Drive.The Resurrection will be celebrated at the 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday services. There will be no evening ministry school on Sunday.

The Prime Timers of Faith United Presbyterian Church, 1329 N. Main St. Ext., will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Garden Gate Restaurant in Prospect for a buffet dinner.

First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will participate in a work day at Slippery Rock Baptist Camp, 130 Elliott Lane, Slippery Rock, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Lunch will be provided. The Kingdom Seekers Sunday school class will stay after for a supper and social.A paintball competition involving AIBCWP teens, young men, dads and guests will take place at the same location from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The $20 participation fee includes gun rental, lunch and 100 paintballs.Easter Day activities will begin with a sunrise service at 8 a.m. at the church, followed by a pancake breakfast. The church choir, under the direction of music minister Todd Wentworth, will present an Easter cantata at the 10:55 a.m. Sunday service.
