SARVER — There will be a country market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Buffalo Presbyterian Church, 678 Sarver Road.

One of the attractions will be a mini-health fair conducted by the Alle-Kiski Health Foundation. There also will be an array of local crafts and services.

Sept. 8 is the deadline to register for the Families Forever Seminar, offered by Lifesteps. Lifesteps offers Child Check, a free screening service for all children from birth to age 5.The screenings will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 10 at the Butler YMCA, 339 N. FREEPORT — The third annual Ms. Quality Life Pageant will start at 11 a.m. Sept. 25 at Laube Hall, 115 Community Park Road.The pageant will feature contestants from eight nursing and personal care homes across Armstrong, Butler, Fayette, Mercer and Westmoreland counties.The winner will receive a crown, a bouquet, a $100 J.C.
