SAXONBURG — Saxonburg Festival of the Arts is scheduled Sept. 10 and 11 at Roebling Park and along West Main Street.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 10 and Noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 11.

The annual festival features arts, crafts, photography, music and food plus a 5K race at 8 a.m. Sept. 10.

SAXONBURG — This year's Penn's Colony Festival will be Sept. 17, 18, 24 and 25 at the festival grounds at 365 Saxonburg Blvd. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.Applications are being accepted from people who would like to participate in a “Living History Challenge,” whose activities may include open fire cooking, performing as a French aid during a skirmish, playing bagpipes and singing. GROVE CITY — The Guthrie Arts Guild has announced its eighth season, starting it off with an “American Celebration” with the Trinity Brass at noon Sept. 9 in the Guthrie Theater, 232 S.
