Gus and Dolores Tonini

Gus and Dolores Tonini of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with dinner at the Butler Township Building, hosted by their children, and they will take a family cruise to Bermuda in July.

Tonini married the former Dolores Franek on May 19, 1962, at St. Michael the Archangel Church.

They have two children, Brian Tonini and Michelle McGowan, both of Butler.

They also have five grandchildren.

Tonini is retired from AK Steel.

He is a member of the Armco-C bowling league, American Legion Post 778, Slovak Club and the Butler Area Street Machine Association.

Mrs. Tonini is a homemaker and formerly worked for State Farm Insurance.

The Toninis are members of St. Michael the Archangel Church.
