Dear God,

We are thankful for the time you have bestowed upon us to honor you by ensuring that others have benefited from our hand and your spirit.

We ask your continued help to lift each person we meet, one by one, closer to the Lord. Through Jesus Christ, we can, we will, and we have empowered the weak, cared for the ill, fed the hungry, housed the homeless, united families, saved souls and built a city closer to your own heart.

We pray for our sons, our daughters, our siblings and our neighbors to come together as one.  United we are powerful as many hands work together in your garden. We see love growing in your glory evidenced by the beautiful communities developing daily as we work side-by-side, hand-in-hand, and walk step-by-step to embrace peace and harmony with all. 

We praise the service of every soldier, firefighter, police officer, emergency medic, dispatcher, doctors and nurse. We ask you, Lord, to cloak them with angels to ensure their safety and please deliver them home every day to their own angels for hugs and kisses.

Lord, we recognize that all blessings are because of you, while other things happen that we can never understand. We thank you for your blessings to surround us with those working in your name to hold us up when we lose hope. Please help us continue to love each other and to care for them as you have shown mercy on us.
