12:16 p.m. Friday - A car driven by Joan Codispot, 60, of Butler Township struck a utility pole along North McKean Street.9:01 p.m. Thursday - Randy Double, 47, of 442 N. Bluff St. was arrested for driving under the influence on West New Castle Street.
7:03 p.m. Sunday - Amelia Criswell, 50, of Saxonburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Routes 228 and 8 in Middlesex Township.Saturday - Several undisclosed items were taken from a storage unit in a burglary between Tuesday and Saturday at Butler Mini Storage in Connoquenessing Township. Betty Hodges of Aspinwall, Allegheny County, owns the stolen property.1:08 a.m. Friday - Daniel Kopp. 31, of Evans City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car struck an embankment at Route 528 and Woodlands Road in Connoquenessing Township.12:42 p.m. Thursday - Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.The crash occurred when cars driven by Karen Stuckwish, 48, of Zelienople and John Nicotra, 29, of Cranberry Township collided on the highway.Both drivers and two passengers in Stuckwish's car, Charles Harkley, 41, of Sheakleyville, Mercer County, and Page Coopers, 11, of Zelienople, who all were wearing seatbelts, were taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.4 a.m. Thursday - Cynthia Sadler, 41, of 155 Golden Pond Drive was arrested after allegedly assaulting her husband, Thomas Sadler, 41, during a domestic dispute at the couple's Mercer Township home.Cynthia Sadler was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $1,000 bond.Wednesday - An undisclosed amount of money and medication and a camcorder valued at $700 were taken between noon and 12:30 p.m. in a burglary at the Branchton Road home of Kim Sankey in Slippery Rock Township.Wednesday - Coins and undisclosed items valued at $800 were taken in a burglary between Aug. 8 and Wednesday at the St. John Road home of Gloria Gramz in Clay Township.Wednesday - Charges are pending against suspects, whom police did not identify, for the alleged theft of water service at a Driftwood Drive home at the Saxony Estates in Saxonburg.Police said the suspects turned on the water meter, owned by the Saxonburg Area Authority, at the home and unlawfully consumed 1,300 gallons of water between July 29 and Wednesday.Tuesday - Someone allegedly used a BB gun between 7 and 8 p.m. to shoot a 5-year-old Akita dog at the Creek Drive home of Neil Folmer in Slippery Rock Township. The dog suffered unknown injuries to its right hip.Tuesday - Two Butler County volunteer fire departments reported receiving several bad checks totaling more than $500.Police said the Bruin VFD received three bad checks totaling $325 and the Petrolia VFD received two bad checks totaling $250.July 31 - Barbara Bowser reported that numerous lawn decorations were taken from her Branchton Road home in Washington Township.June 24 - Two juveniles are suspected of taking a number of undisclosed items in a burglary at a Rocky Spring Road hunting camp in Marion Township.
