Rattigan 50th anniversary
Ben and Rose Ann Rattigan of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner Nov. 11 at the J-Barn Country Inn in Sarver.
Rattigan married the former Rose Ann Easley Nov. 11, 1961, at Mater Dolorosa Church in Chicora.
They have five children, Michael Rattigan of Jacksonville, Fla., Patrick Rattigan of Butler, Sheila Green of Lexington Park, Md., Shannon Koprivnak of Kittanning and Sheri Paseazi of Butler.
They also have 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Rattigan is retired from the Navy and the Post Office.
He is a member of VFW Post 249 and American Legion Post 778. He also serves on the Honor Guard for military funerals.Mrs. Rattigan is a homemaker. She sings in the church choir and does jazzercise.The Rattigans are members of St. Michael the Archangel Church.
