Butler Twp PoliceState Police, Butler8:08 a.m. Wednesday — Aaron David Butler, 31, of New Brighton, Beaver County, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Evans City Road in Connoquenessing Township.
State Police, Kittanning4:26 p.m. Wednesday — An SUV driven by Ross Schafer, 36, of Kennersville, N.C., and a triaxle truck driven by Wallace Emery, 60, of Bruin collided on Route 422 in West Franklin Township. Schafer was cited for not driving at a safe speed.2:20 p.m. Tuesday — Police are searching for the man who robbed the NexTier branch in Manor Township with a revolver. He took an unknown amount of cash from a teller and fled.He is described as white, between 20 and 30 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, between 150 and 160 pounds, and having dark hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black Snap-On tool long sleeve sweat shirt, black or dark gray Under Armour sweat pants and a black tassel cap.Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 724-543-2011.6:13 p.m. Monday — Laura A. Johns, 36, of East Brady was charged with violating a protection from abuse order by making a FaceTime phone call to a 13-year-old Chicora girl.12:03 a.m. Saturday — Michael A. Moran, 25, of Saxonburg was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 28 in East Deer Township, Allegheny County.
