CENTER TWP — The Center Township board of supervisors held its annual reorganization meeting Tuesday at the Unionville Fire Department fire hall.

Township Supervisor Ken Frenchak said there were no new appointments; everyone was reappointed.

Supervisor Ed Latuska was reappointed chairman, Alan Smallwood was reappointed vice chairman and Bob Sloan was reappointed vacancy board chairman.

The wages of the township supervisors remained the same, at $2,500 per year.

Anthony Amendolea was reappointed township secretary and treasurer, as well as recording secretary and public records officer. John Nath, of Professional Code Services in Gibsonia, was reappointed building code official.

Patrick Gauselmann was reappointed zoning officer, while Doug Duncan will again be the sewage enforcement officer and Bill Errera and Braden Weitzel will be fleet inspection mechanics for the township.

Michael Gallagher and Ron Olsen were reappointed township solicitor and township engineer, respectively.

Tom Shebel was reappointed to the planning commission, Frank Rodgers was reappointed to the Uniform Construction Code Appeals Board, and Randy Brown was reappointed as the emergency management coordinator.

Township meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the fire hall, except for in October, when the board’s meeting day is changed because of Columbus Day.
