Peggy and Bernard Michael

Bernard and Peggy Michael of Petrolia celebrated 50 years of marriage with a recent trip to Hawaii and a picnic at home with family and friends.

The former Peggy Rottman married Michael June 6, 1957, at United Presbyterian Church in Fairview.

They have four children, David Michael of East Brady, Dennis Michael of Petrolia and Charlene Kepple and LE Etta Swigart, both of Chicora.

They also have eight grandchildren and a great-grandchildren.

Michael is retired from Witco.

Mrs. Michael is retired from Karns City School District, where she worked in the cafeteria.
