1:52 p.m. Thursday — Devon J. Baptiste, 26, of Saxonburg was charged with public drunkenness and possession of drug paraphernalia after police allegedly discovered a syringe in his pocket while investigating a complaint at the Diamond Street parking lot.10:07 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Gwendolyn M. Main, 64, of Lyndora struck a pedestrian, Cole Hecker, 18, of Butler as he crossed the intersection of Pillow and West Cunningham streets. Main allegedly fled, but was found after a witness identified her license plate and vehicle.8:14 a.m. Wednesday — A 14-year-old girl was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana after she allegedly was caught with it at Butler Intermediate High School.

3:14 p.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Taylor Huff, 18, a vehicle driven by Sandra Erdos, 60, and a third vehicle driven by Richard Tremba, 44, all of Butler, collided at the intersection of Whitestown Road and South Duffy Road. Huff and Tremba suffered minor injuries.9:17 p.m. Tuesday — Joseph Parker, 23, of Butler was cited for discharging an air rifle near Ravenhurst Apartments after he allegedly shot a person in the parking lot of NexTier Bank Operations Center on Pittsburgh Road using plastic BBs.6:57 p.m. Tuesday — Nicole Buzzelli, 35, of Cabot was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property after she allegedly tried to steal items from Kohl's department store at Butler Crossing.5:22 p.m. April 20 — Donald Reiland, 57, of Harrisville was charged with DUI, restrictions on alcoholic beverages, careless driving and driving on roads laned for traffic following a traffic stop along Route 8.

5:08 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Joseph J. Balukin, 57, of Pittsburgh struck a deer on Interstate 79 near Sawyer Road in Muddy Creek Township.3:20 p.m. Wednesday — A Jeep driven by Jonathan M. Sadler, 23, of Butler, a car driven by Patrick S. Kennedy, 20, of Butler and an SUV driven by Kaleb K. Hammond, 30, of Bedford collided on Route 8 near Dillion Lane in Clay Township. Kennedy's passenger, Nichole C. Beccard, 20, of Pittsburgh suffered a minor injury, and Sadler was cited for careless driving.Monday — Someone stole about 12 power cords, two metal “Hires Root Beer” signs, about 40 feet of 12-gauge wire and a brass adapter Rofrost Systems set, all belonging to Nicholas Vaccarello of Prospect, from a building on Kennedy Road in Prospect between April 7 and Monday. The items have an estimated value of about $940. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-284-8100.
