Prospect customers have low voltage
A brief power drain Wednesday morning affected about 1,000 Central Electric Cooperative customers in the Prospect area.
Ed Maleski, CEC spokesman, said one of the power supplies that feeds a substation went down at around 8 a.m., causing low voltage for customers.
He said decreased power could affect furnaces and other appliances, but the situation was rectified in about 45 minutes.
Maleski did not know the cause of the power supply failure.
