Butler Police7:32 a.m. March 12 — Samantha L. Bradley, 30, of Butler Township was injured when the car she was driving crashed into a parked pickup truck after hitting two utility poles and a traffic sign on Hansen Avenue.Bradley was traveling north when her car went off the road, hitting a utility pole and traffic sign. The vehicle crossed all lanes and hit another utility pole on the other side of the road before hitting a pickup in the Lyndora Auto Sales lot.Bradley suffered minor injuries but refused hospital treatment. Her car sustained severe damage. Police cited her for careless driving.2:30 p.m. March 5 — A car driven by Center Township teenager and a sport utility vehicle driven by Nancy Benn, 50, of Winfield Township collided at West New Castle Road and Hansen Avenue. Neither the 17-year-old nor Benn was injured but their vehicles had heavy damage.

Butler Township Police12:27 p.m. March 2 — Devin A. Nassy, 21, of Chicora and Everett B. Roy, 29, of Saxonburg were caught with suspected marijuana after police got a call of suspicious activity at Meridian Station on Meridian Road.Nassy and Roy are both charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Grove City Police8:13 p.m. Tuesday — Danny J. Williams, 39, of Sandy Lake was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a crash at East Main Street and Greenwood Drive.In addition to DUI, police said Williams faces charges of driving with an open container of alcohol and driving with suspended registration.

Butler County Detectives11:21 a.m. Tuesday — Ahmad E. Rashad, 59, of Summit Township was caught with a container of fake urine in an alleged attempt to cheat on a drug screening at the Butler County Adult Probation office in Butler.Authorities found the contraband hidden in his underwear. Rashad is charged with attempting to furnish drug-free urine.

State Police, Butler10 p.m. Wednesday — Andrew Rostosky, 32, of Butler, was charged with simple assault of his girlfriend Erika McNany, 38, of Butler. Rostosky turned himself in and was taken to the Butler County Prison on simple assault and related charges.11:23 a.m. Wednesday — Toryon T. Flemings, 18, of Erie was charged with suspected DUI on Route 422 East at Countyline Road in Clearfield Township. He was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital to have blood drawn, and charges are pending blood results.March 7 — Police charged Jason T. Wertman, 26, of Summit Township with stealing and forging a check belonging to his mother earlier this year. Wertman, who lives with his mother, allegedly took the check Jan. 19.Wertman is accused of signing his mother's name on the check, written for $120, that he deposited electronically using his cell phone. “The defendant claims he needed (the money) for his drug addition,” according to a police affidavit.He is charged with forgery, access device fraud and theft.

State Police, Kittanning8:13 p.m. Friday — Jonathan B. Cumberledge, 34, of Kittanning, was heading north on Route 28 when he was stopped and then charged with DUI with suspended license and under the influence of a controlled substance. He was in possession of suspected heroin.6:05 p.m. Thursday — Craig R. Campbell, 23, of East Brady was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Route 28 in north Buffalo Township.5:15 p.m. Thursday — Dondre A. Grisom, 22, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Route 28 at exit 18 in South Buffalo Township.5 p.m. Wednesday — Cindy McCurdy of Plumcreek Township was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She borrowed the car of Marcia L. Berner, 54, of Rural Valley, and drove the vehicle to Florida. She told Berner that she had no intention to return the car.2:27 p.m. Wednesday — A 25-year-old Clearfield County man was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township. Police said the driver, from West Decatur, and his passenger, a 28-year-old woman from Houtzdale, Clearfield County, were also found with medication for which they did not have prescriptions.Police did not identify the occupants. DUI and drug-related charges are pending lab results.12:50 a.m. Feb. 21 — Cody R. Cooper, 23, of Brockway, Jefferson County, was arrested for DUI on Route 28 at exit 18 in South Buffalo Township.

State Police, Mercer10:34 p.m. Wednesday — Denys Rossochynskyy, 35, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with driving under the influence after he was driving a loaded tractor trailer erratically on Interstate 80 near mile marker 20.11:40 p.m. Thursday — Aaron C. Bicehouse, 18, of Sandy Lake was driving west on Carlton Road when he struck a cow in the road. Bicehouse was uninjured.
