Restaurant evacuated after motorist hits gas meter
The King's Family Restaurant on New Castle Road was evacuated today after a motorist struck a gas meter before fleeing the scene.
Larry Christy, township fire marshal, said the 911 call came in around noon.
Although emergency crews cleared the scene, T.W. Philips is making repairs.
