Amanda V. Nolte Kidd
Amanda Violet Nolte Kidd, 24, of 181 Freeport Road died Sunday as a result of a car accident on Route 68 near Connoquenessing. Her daughter, Angel Lea Kidd, was stillborn Sunday after the accident.
Born in Butler, Dec. 26, 1980, she was the daughter of Harry J. Nolte and the late Cynthia Lea Huselton.
She attended Butler High School and was preparing to return to her studies at a Pittsburgh computer school.
Surviving are her husband, Douglas Lee Kidd, whom she married Sept. 15, 2004, and who currently is serving with the Navy on the USS Harry S. Truman. She also is survived by her father and stepmother, Harry J. and Jean French Nolte; two sons, Drevan Coughenour and Ash Nolte; a brother, Evan Nolte; a stepbrother, Christopher Zedreck; and two stepsisters, Melissa and Nicole Zedreck, all of Butler; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and a large extended family.
Her maternal grandparents, Carl L. and Rita V. Huselton preceded her in death.
KIDD - Friends of Amanda Violet Nolte Kidd and her daughter, Angel Lea Kidd, who died Sunday, May 8, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. H. Curtis McDaniel, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church in America, officiating.
