Karns City inside linebacker Luke Garing and Union/A-C Valley's Landon Chalmers and Carter Terwint have received special honors as District 9 released its football all-star selections.

Garing has been named Late School Defensive MVP. Chalmers has been named Small School South Offensive Lineman of the Year, The Falcon Knights' Terwint Defensive MVP.

Falcon Knights coach Brad Dittman has been named Small School South Coach of the Year.

The Gremlins have numerous players on the all-district team.

They include offensive linemen Josh Griffiths and TJ Vlassich, running back Jayce Anderson, place-kicker Zach Kelly, fullback Garing, defensive lineman Aaron Taylor and cornerback Nate Garing.

Moniteau fullback Matt Martino also made Large School all-district.

Other Falcon Knights named all-district are Chalmers and Terwint on the offensive line, wide receiver/return specialist Caden Rainey, running back Mike Card, linebacker Terwint, defensive linemen Card and Colton Murray, cornerback Ryan Cooper.
