James M. Kelly
James M. Kelly, 76, of New Hope Road, Boyers, died Friday morning in Butler Township.
Born in Cherry Township July 21, 1932, he was the son of Dale A. Kelly and Arietta E. (Deal) Kelly.
He attended the New Hope and the West Sunbury schools.
Mr. Kelly was employed by the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad, from where he retired in 1985 as a mechanical foreman after 30 years of service.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of American Legion Post 117 of Butler.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the Veteran Employees Association of the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad.
Surviving are a sister, Laura J. Roll and her husband, Carl, of Butler; a brother, Lester T. Kelly and his wife, Wanda, of Richmond, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
<B>KELLY </B>— Friends of James M. Kelly, who died Friday, June 19, 2009, will call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Jamison Funeral Home,</B> 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Chaplain Vic R. Brown, chaplain of the Bessemer and Lake Erie Retirees Association, officiating. Burial will be at the New Hope Cemetery, Cherry Township.
