Prospective students and families can attend a free event with Milton Hershey School admissions counselors at 6 p.m. March 14 at Rachel’s Roadhouse, 100 Fairfield Lane in Butler Township.

Participants will learn how the school’s education and structured home life could create a brighter future for their children.

The Milton Hershey School is a free, private, coeducational school in Hershey for in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade children from lower-income families.

CRANBERRY TWP — The deadline to register for a gambling addiction seminar is March 13.

Josh Ercole from the Council on Compulsive Gambling of Pennsylvania, a nonprofit organization, will present “Gambling as an Ingredient of an Addiction Cocktail” from noon to 3:30 p.m. March 17 in the council chambers at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, 2525 Rochester Road.

The free event will include lunch. Advance registration is required and limited to the first 50 people who respond.
