8:30 a.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Margaret Ray, 27, of Butler backed into a parked car owned by Richard Leonard of Butler on West Brady Street. Ray was cited for leaving the scene of the accident.5:03 p.m. July 31 — A car driven by Jessica Lynne Holley, 20, of Butler and a vehicle driven by Tiffany Lule, 27, of Butler collided on Brown Avenue. No injuries were reported. Holley was cited for not having insurance.

2:55 a.m. Friday — Rebecca Adkins, 29, of Butler was arrested for drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Mercer Street in Butler.Wednesday — Someone stole a $200 Motorola Razor cell phone from a vehicle owned by Lauren Wright of Valencia while it was parked at the North Washington Rodeo Grounds in Washington Township between 7 and 11 p.m.Monday — Someone removed a Pennsylvania inspection sticker from a Dodge Ram pickup truck owned by Matt Basel of Butler while it was parked at the Switchback Race Track off Route 8 in Clay Township between 9 p.m. Aug. 11 and noon Aug. 13.11 a.m. Aug. 12 — Someone stole about $85 from a money box owned by Ed Sommers of Harrisville while he was conducting a moving sale at a Frampton Road residence in Mercer Township. The thief fled in a dark sedan. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.
